Kol Ford is a London-based larp designer and immersive event organiser, also writing about interactive narrative and blockbuster roleplay. As co-founder of the Omen Star collective, he has designed and produced critically acclaimed larps including Cyberpunk London, Goetia, and Valour Manor. Alongside Rebel Rehbinder, Kol co-organises London’s annual Smoke Festival, one of the UK’s flagship events for larp and immersive theatre. Together, they also direct the Sacrament and Tavern Quest larp series, delivering large-scale interactive storytelling to players across the UK, Europe, and the US. Kol lives and works out of North London where his expertise on agency and interaction is used in his community work, while also bringing high immersion, high agency storytelling to a broader audience through activities like the School of Spellcasting.
