    Life is Cheap is a Norwegian larp set in the Firefly-universe.

    On a secret location each year, there is held an auction. This auction deals not in food, spice, spacecrafts, or weapons. No… This auction deals in live flesh… Do you need to restock your bordel? Or maybe you are a wealthy mine owner who intends to stay wealthy by buying cheap labor. Perhaps you need someone to fight in your arena, or you are looking for a translator. Or maybe you just get a kick out of these event. The verse is a wretched hive of scum and villainy after all. Or perhaps you are on the wrong side of the bars? Maybe you were adrift in space and were picked up by some “helpful” people. Or you were taken from your home by force? Or maybe, just maybe, you want to be here as a slave? Who knows…

    Where: Fjøløy Fort at Rennesøy right outside Stavanger, Norway.
    When: June 28-30, 2013
    Cost: 200/300 NOK (approximately 27/40 Euro or 35/52 USD), the lower price is if you pay before April 15th.
    Language: The game will be played in mixed languages, Norwegian and English are both okay.

    The Monitor Celestra is a nordic Larp inspired by the science fiction tv-series Battlestar Galactica.

    It will be played on three occasions in Gothenburg, Sweden during March 1-3, March 8-10 and March 15-17. The game run on March 8-10 will be in English aimed at international players and there is an option for a fourth game on March 22-24 if the other three games become full.

    The location of the game is the old Swedish destroyer Småland which will be dressed up as BSG-style spaceship with the help of set dressing, props and technical aids.

    The game will be pay and play, the organizers providing costumes and props that are not readily available for players such as uniforms. This means there are different price points for different characters, based on how costly the visual props are for that character class.
