Markus Montola is a games researcher from Finland. With Jaakko Stenros he has edited Nordic Larp, Beyond Role and Play and Playground Worlds. His academic writing on Nordic Larp can be found here He designed the larp Proteus: Sotakarjujen synty (Finland, 2018, Eng. Proteus Origin of War Hogs) together with Simo Järvelä.
