Maria has been larping since 1996 and has organized several larp scenarios, campaigns, conventions and written several larp games. Maria has a background in the world of theater and has her focus on how to make larping a dramatic experience.<br />

She has worked with education and larping for many years. Both as a teacher at evening school for young people, teaching them how to produce both characters and gear for larping and organizing larps for young people. She has also worked at a community center using role-playing as the primary pedagogical tool. <br />

In 1998 she had her debut as a free-form writer for [[Fastaval]], where she wrote Skyggernes Spil together with Maiken “Malle” Nielsen that got the [[Otto]] for Best Scenario, she then won again in 2013 the Otto for Best Participant Experience together with Jeppe Hamming for the scenario [[Sarabande]].<br />
