The Knudepunkt book 2027, for now called “Together Tomorrow”, will center hope, bridge building and community through new, young and experienced voices. Mind you, when we write ‘book’ we do not yet know what form or format it will take, instead we kick off the book project with two open brainstorming workshops in order to explore and collect ideas.

We would like to invite you to join the Knudepunkt book team 2027. You don't need to have experience or commit to a year's worth of work to be part of our book project. There are several ways to join the process as brainstormers, content creators, mentors, proofreaders, designers etc. See how in the section “Join us” below.

'''Why join?'''

The book is a great way to contribute to and engage with the long standing tradition of the Knutepunkt publications. It's a place where you can be a part of the Knutepunkt discourse - even if you can't physically be present at the conference. You can be anywhere in the world, part of any culture, be a larp practitioner or an academic, be completely new to writing articles, be a seasoned editor, be really good at supporting others and so much more.

No matter the format, the physical version of the knutepunkt book 2027 will be available as a preorder (pickup at KP27 only). The books will, per tradition, be available for free after KP.

''Follow our process with the book here:''

* '''Mentors:''' You are the guides and sparring partners of the creators, new and seasoned alike. This work will mainly be autumn and winter.

* '''Finishers:''' ''On call editors, proofreaders, visual proofreaders.'' You are the fresh eyes when all the rest of the contributors have gone blind. You pull the contents over the finishing line. This work will mainly be in winter and the following spring.

* '''Community hosts:''' You are the social glue, who support the creative process by keeping the discord alive and a good place for our ideas and work to flourish. This work will be through autumn, winter and possibly include spring.
'''Workshop: Possible Futures'''

'''The birth of the book'''

Anne Grove and Frederikke S. B. Høyer are behind this book's broad idea of bringing it out to more of the community (when ‘we’ are used, it refers to these two). Officially, this process started at [[Knutpunkt 2026]] where a physical ideaboard was hung up as well as a digital one was shared online. After the convention the notes were transferred into the digital board, to collect all in one place. The hope was to open up the process and invite people in.

Therefore, we gave a talk at Nordic Larp Talks, which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DM7Zf2MLFb4

We also gave a 2 minute lightning talk at Knutpunkt on how to get involved. This was not recorded.
