They focus on high agency, high immersion larps which empower participants to guide the narrative themselves. As an organisation they are committed to lowering the barrier to entry to larp in the UK partnering with Islington Council in London and Sandwell Council in Staffordshire, as well as organsiations such as Colab Theatre, Theatre Deli, Zu Uk and others.

Omen Star also run The Smoke Festival since 2023. Since 2025 they worked closely with the Voidspace Festival in London and the Isle of Wonders Fetsival in Cres, Croatia to bring chamber larps to a wider audience.
